Pics from this weekend's Dallas Pelicans
Seven local Pelicans and 5 cars showed for today's get together. Neil's 73S had a starter prob and Buck's Carrera front end is still being renegotiated. Rob from Plano joined us for the first time with his SC with warmed over Euro Carrera motor, roll bar and recaros and Jack brought his 914-6 2.5L. He has owned this 914 for 27 years!! The group today was Ed, Buck, Rob, Jordi(and son), Neil, Jack, and yours truly. Here are a few shots. Enjoy!!!!

Mark,
Thanks for being the Dallas area Pelicanhead social chair. I had a good time seeing new and old faces and talking Porsches. It turns out that my battery was bad. Seems odd that a battery could go from operating to dead in 3 hours. I went to Autozone and they confirmed that the battery was dead, so I bought an Optima. I am looking forward to the next coffee... say mid June.

Man...what a great gathering it was (again). The weather was even decent. Mark, I have decided to go with a ducktail (if anyone is interested in a one piece, fiberglass '74-'77 carrera tail/deck lid w/rubber lip...mine is for sale). After today's meet, I was inspired when I got home and worked on my 911S for a few hours
