Audi coils for coil on plug setup?

Wondering if anyone uses Audi coil packs for coil on plug setup?

I have a set from my A4 that I was just going to get rid of, not sure if they can be used for a COP setup?

I do. They work. Tight fit but very doable.

The short answer is yes. But...
It really depends on your choice of EFI for how they can be made to work. Some EFI prefer a low impedance primary winding for COP and some prefer a high impedance primary.
I am running Audi COPs on my car, but I had to get the bolt-down COPs from a turn of the century a4/passat as my MS3X requires a high impedance coil or a MOSFET box to run low impedance coils. Had I known this when I was getting my plans together, I'd have either gone with a different ECU or different coils. I was planning to run regular push-down 1.8t coils, but their low impedance will burn up coil drivers on my ECU.

Because of all of this, I'll be switching to Toyota COPs in the near future. (hooray for rewiring :( )

Thanks, these are the same coils as an R8. Used in the 2.0 turbo 4

Those are low-z. Maybe 350-400ohms.
And they're a bit long. The 1.8t coils are about 3/4" (19mm) shorter and fit much better.
Check Clay.0's EFI/ITB thread to see what I mean about the length.

On COP’s what I use are dumb coils, honda cbr types, and usually run them with M&W cdi’s.

I am using a WeaponX CoP setup with WeaponX ignitors and they fit nicely:
