Using MSD Digital Programmable 6AL-2 Twin Plug Distributor
 

Hi folks,

I'm new to this forum and we are re-building s 911 T models from '71 to a 2.5 ST version incl. engine upgrade (66mm stroke, 89mm bore, 10.5:1 compression, max. 8500 rpms).
As we would like to have at higher revs also higher ignition advance timing than 28 or 30 degrees I was thinking to use 2x MSD programmable ignition box 6AL-2 to hook up on a twin plug distributor system.

For this reason I'm asking if anybody has some experience and which inductive (contact-less) twin plug distributor can be recommended for this application with no advance curve or deactivated centrifugal advance timing to use this external ignition trigger system.
