Gauges?

I’m a bit lost here
Allow me to explain:

1968 911 chassis, original wire harness.
1983 3.0 stock but going with Weber’s
1983 CIS harness. Engine and ECU.
5spd 901 trans
MSD with blaster coil

I have a 77 Speedo
The rest I need to buy.

What are my options here when it comes to gauges?
Any advice on which ones to look for?

Are you looking to have early style gauges with the silver button needles or the later 74-on style?

Your 77 speedometer isn't going to work with a 901 transmission. You will need a speedo with a mechanical "cable" drive.

Here is what I would recommend, but first you need to decide on the style of the gauges.

- Pre-76 mechanical speedometer
- Any fuel/oil temp gauge will work
- 77-83 Oil Temp/Pressure gauge
- Any clock will work
- You can start with almost any tach but you will need to either have it modified or use a tach adapter for it to work with MSD.

Feel free to send me a PM if you need any help getting your gauges together.

I'm not sure if a '68 had the green faced gauges stock or the later black with silver button ones.

If the former, I have some to sell but not a complete set.

68 would have the black face/orange needles. 68-73 look the same.

If the OP has no interest in your green faces gauges I may.

I had one original fuel gauge with the silver dot but it’s missing the glass. Some idiots epoxy primed the car and didn’t tape things like this up and I broke the glass trying to clean it up.
I would like silver dot guages.
I also have a tank/oel gauge 911 641 202 29
Temp/press. 911 641 104 29
A clock that didn’t move when I hooked it up to a battery.

If anyone has any silver dot gauges let me know
