My twins would literally die of excitement with one of these! There was a much smaller scale 911 kart for sale around here the other day, but they were asking as much money as a real 911 (well, a mid year at least)

Wayne,

Who made these? I saw one on CL a couple months back and thought about scooping it up. But this kart I saw was not as elaborate and generally doesn't look as quality as yours. I remember it had a tecumseh engine on it. It was cheap, but shipping was obviously going to be a hassle, and frankly I just didn't want it enough.

good score on the price ! that was a find
These were for sale at FAO Schwartz (sp? ) back in the day. There was also a mbz sl and jag xke version , but the 936 was the best of all of them. Two speed honda engines.

There was an earlier Martini version of the 936- probably more rare, but not as detailed as the Jules style
I almost got one to display on the side of the wall, at the old shop, but missed it by a few minutes.

I think Todd at LA Porsche Dismantlers has one too.
These even come with a Porsche ignition key ! enjoy

Here is the bootleg version that I found for my nephew, he loves it.

Works good for picking up chicks too!

Haha that's cool - would totally get something like that for my kid if I had kids. Too funny.

We used to have one, Sold it a while back.
It's amazing the amount of work that was put into this thing.

This posting for a Porsche 962C Go Cart came up in one of my searches. Looks pretty nice and at a very good price. No affiliation.
