Head light pigtail
My 69 T has halogens that work on both dim and bright.
![]() ![]() ![]() Now yellow is on top, white on left, brown right. White is hot. I am trying to upgrade to SMD, when I plug them in I get nothing. Are the pig tails wired wrong. I’m helping my son get a Ghia together and hot is on top on it. Thanks Mark

White is high beam hot, yellow is low beam hot, brown is ground. LEDs are polarity sensitive.

If the lights were designed and built properly, it should just plug in with no changes. If that doesn't work, you'll need to get instructions or diagram from the maker of the lights.

It’s not the lights it’s the car. Pigtail was stripped when car was disassembled for restoration. I put it back together after not taking it apart. It would really help if I could find out what’s correct.
Thanks, Mark

Ahh. Totally different issue then. Yellow at the top. Brown on the left side, White on the right. Looks like you have the brown and white reversed.
