Interior temp sensor 86 930
On my 86 930, the temp sensor spot to the immediate right of the steering wheel has a circular blanking plate.
Does anyone know the part number of the sensor? If indeed an 86 had the sensor? Also a photo would be welcome. Thanks Steve

Depends on whether your car has automatic heater regulation. If manual, no sensor. A photo of the blanking plate would be welcome.

Automatic heat regulator. (Round center knob 0-10).
No vents on the blanking plate. Just a solid black piece of plastic.

So may be you have the old interior sensor, a sort of small willy sticking out between sun visors.

Well, I got under the dash and found the sensor, part 6 and 7 below. All I am missing now is the correct part 8. In the meantime I drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the non OEM blanking plate and that will have to do until I find the right one.
