wheel spacer recommendation

car is a '66 and my setup requires 15mm spacers @ the rear. I bought a set of H&R. beautiful product but they require replacement of the standard studs. the only other type I've seen so far is Sparco. are there others ? feedback appreciated.

Can you source another pair of hubs so you don't have to go messing with the oem ones?
Replacing the studs is no big deal.
Have you looked at the ER website? They have a whole page devoted to spacers, offsets, and studs.
Possibly stack several until you reach you desired width?

I've had very good luck with the super cheap eBay spacers. They've been true and the fit has been excellent.

That said, with 15mm spacers you're going to need longer studs no matter what. Someone on here had a chart that showed what length studs you needed for what spacer sizes, I can't remember who it was though.

Well, if you add 15mm spacers, it should be close enough to put 15mm longer studs....

Hehehe.

Half-hearted Google says the options are 48, 52, 56, 66, 72, 80, 100mm. So you have to figure out what your OE stud length is, and know how many turns of engagement you get with the lug nut. For example, IIRC it's ok to use a 5mm spacer on the front with the stock lugs, but you can't do it on the rear as there's not enough turns on a lug to be safe. That's why the chart was nice.

I mean if you want to play it safe you can get 100mm lugs and it'll definitely work. You'll need open ended lug nuts though...

going with a Sparco type spacer would have been plan B had I not been able to sort out replacing stock studs w/ longer. the job was involved but got it done;
