88 carrera seat height adjustment jammed
Talking about my 88 carrera seat. First thing I noticed is that it won'd adjust down, only up. Tried jerking it, nothing. As soon as I reached the end of travel (highest setting) it died. So power seems to be coming.
What's the best way to tackle this ? thanks!

Am i correct in my thinking that it's probably the side switch itself.. If I'm remembering correctly there are small ball bearings in each switch and sometimes those can move out of the way so when you push the button in one direction it works but the other it won't...
I have the same issue with an older 928 seat that I use for an office chair and may be doing this job today. I will wait for others to chime in as well to see if my thoughts are correct for us.
