Sway bar bushing
Hi I need help, I have a 76 911s, I am trying to re assemble my rear sway bar. I have the snap on end links. I can not get the white snap on bushing in the metal 45 degree metal link that goes to the bar. My press just squishes it. Any ideas thanks

I’ve heated mine in boiling water and greased them before using a vise to press them in.
A good sized pry bar is handy in snapping it back on to the ball. Don’t over grease the ball or white bushing. |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1588968276.jpg My father spun up the press/punch on the right and that helped a lot getting them in. He put in his quil/mill and applied pressure then it would try to cock and he wiggle and tap but they are in now. |
cut down broom handle inserted between the tire and fender and a 4 lb hammer
You realize the links are sided- right & left. |
