Tool Roll Question
is there a proper placement of tools in a tool roll? Did placement change over the years?
I know this is an OCD question , but curious. Specifically looking for correctness for a 73 and 74. Thanks everyone |
Tool roll.
Tool rolls differed not only from M/Y to M/Y but also by
body style. The complete tool rolls for your model year of interest can be very pricey. Also, the tool rolls were shipped to the dealers "out of the cars". Then issued to the buyers from the parts department. Sometimes Cab kits would be given to the Coupe buyer, or to the Targa buyers ect... Have a look at the used parts forum-tool kits. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1588973321.jpg ^^^^^ This is the complete tool kit for our '86. Best, Gerry |
Speedster911,
I too am curious how the tools are meant to go into the tool roll on a 73. And if buttons (vs snaps?) on the roll were correct for that year. Also curious about where to place it in the car. I’ve always liked how John Audette did his in “Stubby”, I assume his is custom. http://www.audettecollection.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/carmel6.jpg Dave |
