3.2 WOT switch cleaning
My wide open throttle switch is acting odd.
While testing it with an ohm meter, there is an approx 1/2 second delay from WOT to the switch opening. Hold throttle open by hand, wait, continuity. I'm sure I recently saw a thread here that showed a WOT switch opened up for cleaning, but can't find it... Any of you ever clean the contacts in your WOT switch? |

Check Wayne 962 post on his 3.2 transplant in his 914. He tried but broke the switch, so he might give you some valueable tips.

Thank you Frank! That was exactly the post I was looking for. I 'think' Wayne broke his while trying to remove it from the tight confines of the 914. I'll remove my airbox and AFM so I should have pretty good access. It's just a simple microswitch, should react instantly. Something must have gunked mine up.
