83 SC - what are these wires?
I am in the process of removing Ungo box wiring and all the related mess it created. The Ungo box had already been disabled by a previous owner, I want to get everything cleaned up.
I found these wires that come out of the passenger (left side) carpeting underneath the door sill. They were then running through the bulkhead to the luggage compartment and spliced together, which led to an inline fuse, which then connected to the fuse box A/C terminal. When I disconnect this wire from the fuse box, the starter will crank but the engine does not start. Any ideas what this is? Wires circled in the images attached. ![]() ![]()

Maybe a wiring for a kill switch for theft protection

99,9% its a wiring from a kill switch as it makes the engine not fire up when circuit is not closed.
If so, then check if the fuel pump isn't buzzering when starting with disconnected wire. And if my assumption is right, then follow the wire till you find the hidden switch :-) and keep it!

Thanks everyone for the help. I pulled the wire some more and it led underneath the rear parcel shelf and entered the engine bay from there, but I cannot see where it leads after that! It must be hidden underneath the sound pad.
Based on what I have read in other threads, it does seem likely that the fuel pump is disabled. I tried connecting these wires how they were before I started pulling things apart and the engine still does not start. There was also another relay that was installed next to the fuse box which was not connected to any of the Ungo wires so I thought would be fine to remove. So I'm guessing that in doing that I somehow removed the power to the fuel pump...

This sounds *almost like* my problem (except i am getting crank from the starter), I am going to try to understand the fuel pump circuit and go from there.
After Alarm Removal, Car Won't Start

![]() I disconnected my alarm, but have not removed the ungo box. I disconnected both the purple and the red wires (spliced to the blacked wired fuse in the picture). You probably just have 1 wire out of place or still connected.

Success!
This was the solution, there was a jumper wire disconnected that sends power to the fuel pump relay. After Alarm Removal, Car Won't Start
