3 d print parts possibilities?
 

Anyone have any access to 3 d print files for silly things such as seat adjust knobs etc? Buying new is simply crazy

Parts are slowly starting to filter out there.
Porsche doesn't hand out their designs, so for now someone has to put the time in to model the piece.
3d scanning and printing quality continue to rise while costs drop, so it will soon be easy for anyone to replicate a part they need.
What are you looking at that is so expensive? I recently bought some seat bits from the dealer and they were not terribly expensive. What's annoying to me is the stuff that is simply NLA.

I could model them and test print some if you have dimensions and images

Someone has already done the 3D modeling for a 928 sun visor clip, too bad they are not the same as a mid year Targa . . .

There is one here, but the scale appears to be wrong, and it's only one side.
Uro makes these complete for $23 or something reasonable.
