69e throttle adjustment

where is the adjustment for my throttle cable or linkage? I'm new to the 911e and with the pedal full to the floor, and I mean to the stop, I can still push the linkage another 1/4 inch. Where is this adjustment made? Thanks

A 6'' link from the pedal to the bell crank under the floorboard which transfers motion to a long rod that runs longitudinally through the tunnel, exits out the back and links to another bell crank on the side of the transmission. That bell crank transfers motion via a 30'' long rod to a 3rd bell crank on top of the engine, right in side of the #3 air intake stack. From there to the injection pump. There may be a rubber coupler on the long tunnel rod at its aft end. So many places to fail and to adjust. Start at the front and work backwards.

Does your car still have MFI? If so, there is no throttle stop at WOT. You can open past the 90deg mark and start to close off the throttle rotating in the opposite direction.

In this case, you need to remove the air filter and look down the intake runner while someone has their foot on the gas pedal stop and see if the throttle is vertical (maximum opening).

If I adjust the bell crank on top of the engine, if that would give me full throttle, yet at the same time increasing idle, would I unlock and adjust the idle screw? Sorry if this is obvious, just not wanting to screw anything up.
