Need Alternator Shop in SF Bay Area

The alternator in The White Rat has expired after many years of faithful service.

Anyone have a recommendation on a shop to take it to for repair. San Francisco East Bay area a plus. Thanks

Hey Sergio!

The best place I have ever found is in Campbell near Jerry Woods Enterprises and Sportehc. The place does a fantastic job:

Starters , Alternators, generators, repair, replace, build

I know it is far, but you can visit RMG, JWE, Yeaman's, Bodystyle, Sportech and/or other friends on the way down or back. Or go to LeMans Karting.

I have to go down that way this week, so maybe we can do a relay system too.

Alternators unlimited in Berkeley. Theyve helped me out twice with 911 alternators. Very nice and extremely reasonable prices.

Whenever possible, I avoid going to Berkeley, the out-patient ward of CA.

Picked up the alternator yesterday - they rebuilt it and it looks as good as the day the car left the FatherLand. Charging nicely and no more faint alt light at idle.

"While I was in there", I repainted the alt/fan housing - check it out:

This could be the "genuine" Auto Lectrics (408) 559-3540, no longer in Campbell but still in the south bay. The other similar named in Oakland is probably a business name squatter.
