MOMO Mod Wheel w/o yellow. where to buy?

looking at a new wheel yet again. My walker momo sits to far from me and i would like something dished.

the mod 7 and 8 fit the bill diameter and dish wise, but they have that yellow strip around the top.

any suggestions? photos are good too.

Momo will build any color wheel you specify through their bespoke program. You can preview it with their configurator.

It does look like they might be on pause due to Covid at the moment though.

I felt the sting when I ordered mine, but my interior looks pretty nice and I didn’t want any colored logos or bands.

I just wish they’d give more options on the amount of dish in different styles.

Black upholstery dye will take care of the yellow stripe and cost more than a Sharpie (and lack the brown hue that they have), so you'll feel like you're getting your money's worth, ha.

I put a Momo in my car because the stock wheel was too far away from me, and I used a 1-inch (I think) spacer when I installed it. You could just put a spacer behind the Momo you've got.

You could find an old dirty suede Mod 07 and have it recovered in leather without the yellow stripe. The carbone guys seemed to be reasonably priced.

If the dish is what bothers you about your current wheel why don't you just put a spacer under it? You can get a simple black spacer that no one will notice for under $20 shipped on Amazon.

any good upholstery in the US can do that.
No need to send it to Poland for that.
