AZ Pelican Spring run

Well, we missed our fall and winter runs. Maybe we can take a shot at getting something together for Spring. March is pretty much booked for me, so I'm thinking something in April. I'm definetely going to watch the Copperstate 1000 launch this year on 4/18, so we could meet there and do a drive after, or pick a date where we could get an earlier start. Thoughts, interest?

Just did a run (walk) to Payson with the AZ PCA chapter had fun but....... Are there any guys in the Phoenix area that like to drive their cars like they were meant to be driven? All of the guys were also driving newer cars, I was driving my 88 and there was one 993. I went to the swap meet at the Deluxe Body shop a few weeks ago and it looked like there were some nice early cars that were built to be driven, those guys ever run them? I'm ready to go when ever.

There are a few of us, it's just hard to get runs organized.

Pretty soon its going to be too hot. What is the quickest way (direction) to hit the cooler temps, north or north/west?

I'm in the southeast valley, so it's east or northeast for me. I went on a nice solo run on Saturday. Hwy 87 to Jake's Corner, then Hwy 188 to Globe and Hwy 60 back to the valley. There was no traffic on 188 and I was haulin balls!

I have a niece graduating high school this weekend and a bunch of family in town for it, so I'm out.

Man, where were you dudes when I was trying to get a run together a couple months ago?

Ha! 5 year old thread! I did an early morning run last Sunday to Canyon Lake. Road is awesome since they re-paved it.
