LA paint shop recs?

I just finished fitting / doing all of the prep work on my ducktail and it’s now ready for primer and paint. Looking for a paint shop in the socal area to have it painted in single stage guards red paint.

Anyone have a shop they recommend that won’t charge an arm and a leg? It’s not a show car and i’m not looking for a concours paint job.

I have never used them personally as I’m a shop myself(wish I could help)but it seems that they would be a good local option for the job described. Blackbyrd on here has used them. Perfect Lines Restoration in North Hollywood.

What do you think would be a reasonable quote for just painting a ducktail?

It’s almost never just painting. There is always prep work and sometimes serious surfacing repair prior to painting. I would charge $2500 minimally and would hope they could do it for $1000-1250

I have already fit the ducktail and corrected every small issue in the gel coat and did all of the prep work. It’s totally prepped for paint already.

If that’s the case then perhaps $700-850
