Will cleaning out Injectors in early 911 make a difference?

I'm almost finished with a fairly major tune up..

I'm wondering if having somebody professionally clean out all of my injectors will make a difference.

Anyone have any thoughts on this??

Thanks!

is it MFI injectors or CIS injectors?

Either way makes a difference depending on how dirty they are.

I think the procedures might be different for the 2 injectors

I replaced mine on my 82SC, they are cheap so I replaced them and it did make a big difference.

If MFI, you will at least want the spray pattern tested. You can have all of them cleaned and and then replace only those with a poor spray pattern - this finally fixed a surging problem at 4K rpm on my '72S and also improved a slight stutter at 6K on wind-up.

Just before your next oil change, run a bottle of Techron through the fuel system. It made a big difference on mine.
