Painting my fan shroud

My 2.7L rebuild is coming along very well and I'll be installing my fan in the next few days. My fan shroud is green and I'm not a "fan" of the color. To be clear, I'm not doing a factory restoration. This is an Outlaw build and the 2.7L will be going into my '68 912. I'll be painting it Aga Blue and I'd like the fan shroud to be the same color. Will there be a heat issue- especially where the shroud attaches to the engine- with the paint I use? Thanks for your help.

I painted my 2.7 green shroud red. It's been years. No problems. Still shines Nicely

What does it look like if you strip the paint and finish it with a gloss? I like the bare-fiberglass look as seen on, e.g., 917s.
