Haldi fuel pump on Zeniths - why not?

I have spent a couple of hours searching trying this forum to find out whether the Haldi fuel pump for 911 Weber engines can be used on an engine with Zeniths, but no luck so far.

Is there any reason why this would not fit a 911 2.4T?

https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/90160810600.htm?pn=901-608-106-00-M225

From what I understand, it has the same maximum pressure as the 911 608 107 (Bosch): 0.25 bar (around 4 psi).

Since the 901 608 106 was also used on the 160 HP 911S, I suppose it will supply enough fuel for a 2.4T.

Basically any low pressure fuel pump for carburated engines will do the job (fuel flow should just be ca 100 l/h or more).

However the fuel pump on a Euro 2,4T-V (your car ?) will be located in the front below the gas tank and has 3 lines including return line. As far as I remember the Hardi pump used to be located in the engine bay and just uses 2 lines (inlet and outlet). Can be adopted with some plumbing though. In general pump location low and closer to the gas tank is said to be beneficial and the return line is said to increase lifetime of the pump.

The carbs will not care as long as fuel supply is sufficient and the pressure does not exceed 3-4 psi.
