Center console microphone carrier picture needed
 

Hi Pelicans,

Would any have a picture of the center console carrier for A/C and Microphone?
I am trying to understand how the microphone holder is attached to the carrier.
I need the back side of what's pictured below

No way to get a pic of the mechanism behind the lower dash without removing the console. It's buried up in all the wires for the radio, the pre-selector, and the auto heat/cool capillary.
You are going to have to wing it.

That is clear Bill.
From time to time people offer these for sale. I was hoping someone who has one laying around for sale or sold one in the past would take/dig out the picture.
I will try to figure it out.

You could try searching the For Sale section or even ebay... maybe you'll get lucky and find a picture of what you need.

I found the answer to my question in one of the pictures You've sent...

The outside edges are actually grinded down in order for the holder to fit inside the microphone bay...
I bought NOS part and it woudn't fit.
Before grinding a brand new super hard to find part I needed to make sure.
Now I'm 100% sure that's what needs to be done.
