It all started with Dad 's Dad and a 1951 Studebaker rebuilding the engine - but no photos of that . . .

Then the Dad with a 1958 356 coupe - rebuild the engine by himself . . .

Than along comes the son and riding in the back seat of the 1972 911 . . .

Then son grows up and rides motorcycle - mother says get him off that damn thing - so along comes the 911 race car that we work on together and son drives . . .

And Father and son travel about the Southwest racing the 911 and making improvements along they way . .

And, Son has won some races and Father and Son get to enjoy the car, the track and the travel together . . . story continues while son now has 2 daughters who can drive ATVs and go-carts and enjoy some tack days with Dad and Grandpa . . .

Other younger son does marathons, mountain biking, hiking, camping, plays hockey and travels around the world . . . I am Proud of both sons and their wives !!

Regards,

My Niece

Here's a shot of my niece and the M491 a few years ago, no kids of my own. She loves the old Carrera, calls it simply"The Beast"

She helps around the shop and when I wash it. First time she ever rode in it she said "Uncle Scotty, I love the smell"

She looks like a nice girl Uncle Scotty.

Reminds me a lot of my niece. Maybe time to update the will so she gets the car...

Axel is 4 and Iím trying to get him interested in old cars. Here he is with grandpa working on his pedal car.

And trying out the newly installed bucket seat. Canít wait to go for a drive with him once the car is ready
