Mechanical Tensioners - Adjustment

Before I start gettting flamed for even having mechanical chain tensioners, let me say first off.... I know... I know; they are a bad thing in a street car.

However between now and the time I am able to upgrade (a few months probably) I would like to make sure they are at least adjusted properly (or as properly as can be expected).

So if anyone could provide some details on the adjustment procedure, chain tension, etc., I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance... (flame suit on, just in case)
