Do 9" Fuchs stick out more then 8" Fuchs?
Looking at a previous thread on offsets...
15x6 or 16x6 +36mm 15x7 or 16x7 +23.3mm 15x8 or 16x8 +10.6mm 15x9 or 16x9 +15mm Would this imply that the 9 inch wheel would stick out about 1cm more than the 8? For the 8 there would be 4 inch-10.6mm=91mm For the 9 there would be 4.5 inch-15mm=99.3mm thanks alf |
Here is a nice visual aid developed by teardrop aka Andy from the UK

Bill, that's an awesome chart, thanks. Had not seen it before.
|
Great chart!
Strange, my part number on the 9 is 911.362.119 not .118 as indicated above or i just have bad eyes... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/fuch9.jpg |
looks like a 9 to me
|
It seems that there are quite a few different part numbers for any given Fuchs wheel size (different finishes, production runs/dates, etc.).
|
alf, Sherwood Lee's chart shows the 16x9 as having the '119' part number. max
|
119 is the correct third series of three digits for the 16x9 Fuchs wheel. Must be a typo in that EXCELLENT chart above. I'm printing that chart right now.............

|
Dang Mark, that is one very clean wheel.
That chart rocks :) alf |
You stole that picture didn't you Mark (MS RoadRace auction) ?
I did the same. If I can't have pristine 9's, at least I can look at how nice they would be....... |
This BBS continues to amaze. Thanks to all for this great information!

Al,
My polished 9's have the ending "119". |
Yes, that's right: the 928 designation shows the "118" append like so:
928 362 118 02 That's as close as I can find anyway... John |
