83 SC Sunroof Questions
So Im in the middle of rebuilding my sunroof and I am most of the way through with new seals, a repaired cable, and cleaned up sunroof tracks and aluminum bits.
I was looking for replacement parts and I realized my unit matches 77 and earlier cars and not the 78-83 style shown in the PET. I should have this: ![]() But actually have this: ![]() Did a PO swap out my sunroof unit for some reason or did they come like this? ![]() ![]() Not a huge deal as I now know what parts I need to order but yeah seems like an odd thing to do. Thanks in advance!

Seems that way. Since posting this I have seen at least 2-3 other SCs with the same style sunroof assembly and the owners say they are original.
