Pelican Parts Open House / Casino Night - Down Syndrome Fund Raiser - November 1st!!!

It is with great enthusiasm that I am happy to announce that Pelican Parts will once again be hosting the 9th annual fund raising benefit for DSRTF (now called the LuMind Foundation) at our location on the evening of Saturday, November 1st. LuMind/DSRTF is the Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation - a charity that is focused on finding scientific and medical breakthroughs that reverse some of the negative effects of this genetic syndrome. As many of you know, our eight-year old daughter Holly has Down Syndrome, so this particular cause is very dear to us.

The date of the event is Saturday, November 1st, from 5:30PM - 10:30PM. We're opening up Pelican Parts' racecar showroom for a rare and exclusive peek behind the scenes of some of the greatest Porsche racecars of all time. There will be food, drinks, and a silent auction with a whole lot of interesting items (several vacations are part of the lot). Best of all, it's Casino Night. We'll have some great prizes and accolades for the big winners of the night. Last year was the first year that we did the casino night, and a lot of people had a tremendous amount of fun. I guarantee it will be fun, or I'll wash your car!

Please come and stop by if only for a short while, it's a great cause that is very dear to our hearts.

-Wayne

Hi all. Our event is in one month weekend (Saturday, November 1nd), and my wife pointed out that I neglected to mention how to purchase tickets in advance. Since this is going to be a casino event with food and drink, it would be greatly appreciated if you're planning on coming (and we hope you are, as it's going to be great fun), that you buy tickets in advance. That way, we can plan ahead and make sure that we have enough tables and food for everyone. You can still buy tickets at the door, but it will make our job more difficult from a planning perspective.

Here's the link where you can register and buy tickets:

Here's the main link to the event page:

I've enclosed a photo of Holly, and a photo of the event venue in case you haven't seen it yet!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wayne, Nori, and HOLLY!

Can't go wrong

Any Porsche is a good thing. I have driven many 911's of all ages. Currently I own a 2001 996 TT and a 1986 930. I love both .... the 930 delivers solid sports car performance, classic turbo looks and heritage. My 996 TT is by far the best car I have owned and driven all at, in my opinion, at a bargain price. The 996 TT is at home a PCA track day then a night out or a road trip to Monterey. Have fun shopping ... better yet keep both!

Wayne,

I went to the site delineated on the cards the kids were holding, but it said it is not active, or something like that. I can not attend, but would like to make a donation. Will that website be up so we can still donate if we can't go?

Toby

Hey, Wayne 962. I'm sorry for posting here but are you still organizing the events? I want to know if you do because I want to participate. I started playing blackjack 2 years ago and I want to understand if I improved, because of coronavirus, I'm forced to play online casinos, so I started playing there when the quarantine started. I've been searching for 2 hours in Google in order to find something suitable. Finally, I found the site, there I can play casino game blackjack online. I've been playing there for 3 weeks and I can say that I didn't have any issues with it.
