Dead Pedal - Recreation of Factory Original or Rennline?
I want to get a dead pedal for my '73 Targa to protect the carpet that just got installed.
I'm debating between the Recreation of the Factory Original https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/PELRGDP.htm?pn=PEL-RG-DP&utm_source=googleppc&utm_term=PELRGDP&utm_campaign=Shopping+Feed&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIt8v9w7uj6gIVhJ6zCh3regPAEAYYASAB EgKzZvD_BwE and the Rennline https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/RENP13B.htm?pn=REN-P13-B&bt=Y&fs=0&SVSVSI=5878 I like the original look of the Factory Original Repro, but the only review it got was bad. Does anyone have either of these that can provide additional feedback? |

Check this post
Let's see your dead pedal And I think that the Targas and coupe's wheel well is different, something you have to consider. Last edited by donporfi; 06-28-2020 at 07:04 AM.. |

Targa and coupes definitely have different geometry in the foot well. I have a Targa and a few different dead pedals in the garage - none are installed because none seem to fit right. ..

I only checked Pelican Parts. Are there other places with Dead Pedals I can look? |

Rennline Dead Pedal
I have the Rennline dead pedal in my '83 Targa & love it.
Great location & large surface area to serve as a comfortable footrest.
