Dead Pedal Recommendation for a '73 Targa

My car is in the process of getting new carpet and I'd like to get a dead pedal to prevent my left foot from wearing through the new carpet in that area.

Any suggestions/recommendations? I'm looking for something subtle.

I have the Rennline dead pedal in my 1979. It's not the most subtle, but I have the anodized aluminum one. The black may be a bit more subtle.

There was a guy on here in LA that I got mine from
Porsche 911 dead pedal-stainless steel
not sure if he still sells them.

That said, depending on how subtle, it's not something that is terribly difficult to fabricate out of some aluminum.

The floorboards I make are designed to hold the easyfix deadpedal/footres.
No drilling, no welding.
