weird looking cam oil line left hand side

looks like some form of slip fitting.
not normal?

Looks like someone has repaired the crimp style fitting with a fuel injection clamp. And yes, it looks like is has moved. I would get a new line asap, expensive and messy troubles could be just around the corner.

that was my take on it. thx for responding/confirming.
this was installed by a highly rated independent Porsche repair shop in Vancouver.
they billed it out as an oem Porsche oil line.
not impressed.

Please point the shop to this thread and take the "oil line" back to them. That's total BS.

the car is a recent purchase
the previous owner got this repair work done.
i do have the receipt.
it's the type of place that wouldn't give a rat's ass.
