weird looking cam oil line left hand side
looks like some form of slip fitting.

Looks like someone has repaired the crimp style fitting with a fuel injection clamp. And yes, it looks like is has moved. I would get a new line asap, expensive and messy troubles could be just around the corner.

that was my take on it. thx for responding/confirming.
this was installed by a highly rated independent Porsche repair shop in Vancouver. they billed it out as an oem Porsche oil line. not impressed. |

the car is a recent purchase
the previous owner got this repair work done. i do have the receipt. it's the type of place that wouldn't give a rat's ass. |
