Driver side window not going down
 

I have an 83SC 911. The driver side window will not go down. I hear the motor running but the glass is not moving up and down. Any thoughts on what might be the problem? Thanks

Only one way to tell.....remove the door panel and look....it could be the mechanism is jammed or the gear had pulled away from the arms and or the spring tensioner stop has broken off (common) and you no longer have the helper spring......or the motor is canked.
