Clogged filter? Junk in the carbs? Locked timing shouldn't cause bucking as described.

Walt.

Changed fuel pump out and got pressure perfect. Can adjust a range of pressure so now know it’s working properly.

Tried your advice with the dizzy. Bingo!!!

Have dizzy out and believe it needs some love. Up and down play seems excessive. 1.5-2mm. Back to the bench and thanks!!!

Might be worth installing an air fuel meter. Assuming you have good ignition and advance the AF can show what may be going on with the carbs.

I just purchased a duel AFR meter from Innovative for my fresh 2.8. Price was decent.

Does it have to be install with a O2 bung or does it have a tailpipe probe?

Comes with bungs. You have to have them welded on. I had Brian at M&K weld them on when I ordered my headers from him. I run carbs, so would like to know whats going on.
