position of OEM Fog Mounts
Could someone with a G body 911 (1977) please measure the distance from the center of the valence to the inside edge of the mounting bracket so I can install my new old fogs correctly
![]() Also include measurement from top of valence to top of flat bracket please thanks! |

I think you want a pre-1984 911SC specifically, as I believe on the '84 SC the fogs were mounted flush instead of protruding. All the 3.2 Carreras I've seen share this update.

yes, mine is a 77 targa
so i have the offending brackets removed from non oem fogs...looking at the valence there is a flat spot on both sides in about the same location as the old fogs ![]() ![]() this is where i figure the real oem brackets are attached but was hoping someone could give me exact center to mount length? anyone? please.... |

The 2.5" is from top of valance to the top of flat as marked in your drawing. But, my valance top looks closer to my bumper than yours. |
