VR signal to Megasquirt - problem to get a good trrigger signal
 

setting my Megasquirt (MSII extra 3.3.1 with 3.0PCB) work with VR sensor and hope for advise from the forum.
(was previously running with EDIS (with VR sensor going to EDIS module))


I configured Megasquirt like this;
VROUT to TSEL
VRIN to TACHSELECT
cut jumper XG1 to XG2 (was there for EDIS I believe)
D14- (short leg of diode) jumpered to IGN
VR sensor is Honeywell 3015A17, 0.1 mm clearance to 36-1 GSF wheel
R52 and R56 both turned fully anti clockwise
Spark mode : Toothed wheel
Ignition Input Capture : Rising Edge
Spark Output : Going High
Number of coils : single coil
Spark output : D14


anything that strike others as not correct with my settings?

Did you set the jumpers for VR?

Here is a photo of my settings. I see you have activated the cam input, do you have a sensor on it as well? If not, that could be an issue.
I'm using a Ford VR sensor and with 3 - BIP373 drivers for an Accel edis style coil. Worked perfect from the get go.
