Seat belt/ brake light dash lights

I have an 82SC. My dash seat belt brake light combination lights don’t work. I replaced the seat belt relay and replaced the module in the dash. Still not working. Any idea what the problem? Need them working to pass inspection. Any way to bypass them?
Help please

The bulbs are likely burned out. They are soldered into the assembly. That part is a bit of a pain to remove.

Joe..just wonder where the heck you need that to pass the inspection.
If you said you replaced the dash unit is it this one? Also is your hand brake warning light working?

That’s not the one. Mine has the removable bulbs which is an earlier unit

These units can go bad and can be repaired. I sent mine to Tore Bergvill in Norway and he made a jig to test and repair. Came back working like a champ !

Here is mine.....

I have a slightly different issue. My parking brake light works but I have never seen my seatbelt light come on. Could be the bulb, but could also be the switch. Is there a way to inspect/replace/adjust the switch in the seatbelt receiver? I have not gone into this rabbit hole yet, but this thread is the first time I've seen a discussion about these bits.

The first thing and easiest thing to check is the bulb. Pry the lense off carefully and replace the blub that is failing. You made need a small pair of needle nose plyers to pull the old blub out.
