Does this look tacky??

So i took my SC on a 750 mile trip, apparently a rock hit my hood and cracked the paint.

Its a daily driver but this is an eyesore. I wanted to cover it up with a decal of some sort.

I had this laying around the house, looks tacky huh?

I though a thick Tag Heur decal, or something would be ok

I like that Ivan. My SC has a couple of small dents so cat footprint decals would work well for me too.

That’s super cool. I have a Bengal that loves to ride with me. I can’t take her in the 930 anymore though
She can’t resist clawing the leather. I guess I should have spent some time training her.

You may want to consider small diagonal stripes that cover that part of the hood and extend onto the fenders a small bit. This is a style seen on GS 'vetts and some M-series BMWs. They are also available as magnetic stripes. Not only would this temporarily cover the defect, but anyone who recognizes the "corvette" inspiration might be amused.

Another thought:
The outer 1/3rd of the hood (both sides) is a great place to put some stripes. Both period correct and aesthetically pleasing. The stripe goes from edge of hood to the indentation for the fresh air intake at the cowl.
I think a couple of Magnus Wallker’s early cars were decorated this way.
