Great web site...can we do this?
This may have been posted before...but I never saw it.
http://www.halfabrain.co.uk/selecta/selecta.htm Any technical and artistic guys want to take this on?? Seems like it would be a great way to dial in your favorite car however you want to....... Eric |
I agree.
I'd love to be able to tty out some things first in this format before actually doing. Come on there's gotta be someone who can do this. Its good fun too:D |
SO COOL
a 911 one could have different flare options...wheel width...al the different tails...hope someone has alot of talent and freetime and make a pelican version... MJ |
Wow that could really be a good tool for buying, rebuilding, or dreaming. What a neat idea. Half a brain must be left hemisphered. They did a great job.
Hey, I know precisely how to do that. I could make it to customize each and every detail. Hmmm... If I wasn't so busy looking for a new job... That could really get me going on my restoration decsions so that I could move forward with things. Hmmm... Thanks for showing us that. -JB |
Whooa, that is kewl!
|
Sweet! We gotta get a porsche one.
|
Yeah, but it needs to be done 3/4 view, not just a side view--so you can see the flare differences and tails and things. It's doable, for sure.

Anyone know how to capture a screen shot and turn it into a jpg in Windows?
|
Very cool. Wonder if John Walker has seen it yet?
It'd be nice to "build" an RS/RSR w/ goodies to see the results beforehand. JP |
howabout one of these to design a woman? Kinda like in the movie "wierd science"
|
Are you trying to capture the picture on the screen? Is so then it won't work. The software that made this program allows the creator to decide if he wants the user to have any control even down to printing.
Sincerely, -JB |
You could copyclip the screen by pressing "printscreen" then paste the image in photoshop or a similar imaging software.
|
definatley need a 911 one...
|
that's been on www.thesamba.com so long, that people are sick of it. pretty damn cool though.

While holding down the "windows" key (next to the alt key) press the "Print screen" key (next to F12). This takes a screen capture, (to the "clip-board"). . which can be pasted into a graphics program. |
Cool, but time consuming with little upside potential (at least for me). Good 'hobby' project though...
