Did any stock 3.2's (other than Turbo-look) have cross-drilled rotors?

I just saw an '88 Targa for sale represented as original, but it had cross-drilled rotors.
I've owned '87's, '88's and now an '84 and don't ever recall seeing that other than M491 option cars. Was it ever possible to order them as a stand-alone option?

The first time I recall seeing cross drilled rotors on a Carrera was the mid 90s and that was aftermarket (AJUSA). I also don't see them on the '88 option list I included below. Lastly, I don't think upgrading consumables precludes it from being advertised as original unless specified something like, "all original including tires."
