Question Does a Dansk 2-1 Sport Muffler w/ 60mm Tip Exist?

Is there a Dansk 2-1 Sport Muffler w/ 60mm Tip that fits the impact bumper cars? I can only find one for the pre-73 cars. A part number would be most appreciated.

as the SSI-style conversion for mid-year cars is from the 70s you will have to look for mufflers categorized up to 1973

60mm Dansk 92.211SS

60mm regular, 92.211

I had this 70mm one 92.511 on my SC with SSI.
very OK

Thanks Flojo. Will these mufflers fit the rear Valence of a 911 SC?

The sport mufflers with side outlets have 70mm tips. Those first two above, are not sport mufflers.
Also make sure you get a muffler for '74+ cars, as the angle of the outlet on the early cars is different.

Yes, that is what I thought. I guess there is no Sport muffler with a 60mm tip that will fit my post 74 car with SSIs.

Sport Muffler with 60mm Outlet That Fits

The following is the response I received from Dansk when I asked about SSI Heat Exchangers and a sport muffler with the 60mm outlet for my 3.2:

"The perfect match will be 91.917SSI and 92.512SSI and it has a 60 mm tail pipe. And it's a sport exhaust and therefore louder than standard.

I asked my Porsche specialist if there are other options. And he say we have never tried other options but he think it’s possible to mount 92.211SSI.

We can’t guarantee that they will fit spot on without some modifications. But you will anyway need some modification when you mount 91.917SSI and 92.512SSI as well.

Best regards

This muffler exits through the rear valance just as the factory muffler does. The outlet is shaped exactly like a factory muffler.

Much appreciated.

Does this imply that 92.211SSI will fit without modification?

Did you end up going with a 60mm variant? Thank you!

I bought the 92.512SSI, but have not installed it yet. The outlet is 60mm and is shaped exactly like my stock muffler.
