Any engine builders out there?
 

Ive got an 83 3.0 engine that needs rebuilding. The engine is out of the car and stripped down to a long block. I need the long block rebuilt.
- The engine came out of a running / driving 911 with no knocking.
- Im in Charlotte NC and would like to find someone fairly local if possible to save on shippind but will ship if needed. On a budget. Thanks L

I would love to dive into another engine rebuild project with someone but I'm afraid i'm a few hours away in Richmond. Hopefully you can find someone local that would like to help you out.
What sort of budget have you in mind? I want to say i did mine for ~$5k farming out all of the machine work.

Bruce Abbott in Spring Hope NC has done 5 builds for me. Happy with them all. He has been building early 911 engines for 40 years and his prices are very reasonable. You being in Charlotte, he could pick up the engine.
