Cleaning cloth seats
What is the best way to clean cloth seats. The beige cloth seats in my daily driver have just gotten darker over the years and I would like to make them somewhat new again. Thanks

They make several aerosol spray can upholstery cleaners that can be found in most autoparts stores that you spray on, work in with a sponge, let dry and then vacumn out. Works ok. I have a carpet cleaner with an upholstery attachment that really works well. If you want the job done right take it to a detailing shop. I don't think you will find them all that expensive.

Here's a trick that dealerships (and others) use to clean oil/grease stains off of carpets, seats and other interior cloth items.....
Use Brake-Kleen. It even kinda smells like (Carbona) dry cleaning fluid. I've also used it succesfully to spot clean my clothing after doing greasy jobs. As usual, try it on a small inconspicuous area to check for incompatibilty.
