Slight Change in Oil Pressure - Concern???

So over the past 4-6 weeks, I've noticed that both my idle and druck gauges are running a bit lower.

May-ish and earlier...idle pressure was very near the top-max line and druck was 4.5-ish at 3K-4K. Now idle is closer to dead-middle and druck is 3.5-ish at 3K-4K.

-No oil change.
-No change in oil level (checked several times, engine warm and running).
-Car running exactly as it always has, which is silky smooth.
-No other issues of any kind.
-It is warmer outside (duh), and the car is running warmer than, say, Jan-April.

Anything to be concerned about? I'll be changing the oil in the next month (annual change), but what's in there is damn clean.

What oil are you running? What have the ambient temperatures been lately?

Warmer the engine gets the oil will thin and your pressures will be lower. Jan-April is what around 45 degrees in WA? I think you are fine..

The PO had Mobile 1 Synthetic 15-50 used for an oil change last May. The one and only John Walker did the work at his shop.

Car has 1300 miles since then.

Temps have been in 80's this summer.

"druck is 3.5-ish at 3K-4K." That is in spec, 1 bar for every 1k in RPM up to 3500rpm

I wouldn't run synthetic in a aircooled motor.

I'm a bit thrown by the comment "idle pressure was very near the top-max line ..." Can you elaborate - are you referring to the oil volume?

Thanks

Jason

Very normal for warmer weather. I’m a big fan of Mobile 1 15W-50.

Yes. Sorry...the OEL gauge next to the fuel level.
