Clicking noise in the rear.

On the road for the first time in 20 years after a freshen up.
When cold it clicks and more so when I'm turning right.
It seems to go away when it warms up.
I have no experience with these 911S. But it sounds like a front wheel drive With a CV issue when turning but to a lesser extent.
The rear right wheel does have some play on the bearing. Without the noise you would ignore this as its so minor.
Car has now done 180 miles and running well.

Maybe Hand Brake cable touching drive shaft, you can tell easily as there will be a witness mark on the drive shaft.

I just had this issue after fitting new cables, only did it some times and very slight, just rerouted the cable a small amount.

Give the driveshaft a good shake near each end, close to the CV, to check for radial play. There shouldn't be any.

While you're down there checking the handbrake cables, make sure the CV joint bolts are all tight.

Why? Buy the correct parts for a 911.
