Typ 1966 - The 911 Replacement That Never Was...
Not that long ago, I got this book for my birthday...
https://www.murdochbooks.com.au/browse/books/lifestyle/The-Complete-Book-of-Porsche-911-Randy-Leffingwell-9780760365038 In it, there is a minor mention of a flat-eight, mid-engined, three seater (centre driving) position replacement for the 911. It was supposed to arrive in 1972 or 1973! https://postimg.cc/XG8Cn60c I never heard about this before... Anyone have any extra information (or better yet, photos) of the prototypes? Edit: Not a technical discussion topic, sorry... Not sure where else to post a question like this...! Last edited by drabels; 08-17-2020 at 09:41 PM.. |

Gordon Murray must have read that book before he created the McLaren F1 road car...
