COCo Mats, What color
 

Ok all,

Dumb questions, wife bought me a gift card for a set of Original COCO Mats. The Car is a 86 Gaurds Red Cab with Black interior.

Don’t really like the Red on the Red and Black Mat, what colors do you fellas think will look best?

I'd do the all black mat with red dots.

Sell the car and buy a car that matches your favorite Coco color combination ?

Not sure where else to go, if so? Perhaps all black?

I did black with grey dots in my black interior. I think it looks classy.

For a red car, I like Ralph's suggestion in post #6. I have a black car, so I went with black with natural.

Black with red. Picks up both colors dominant on the car. Plus the red highlights do not show dirt like lighter colors. My buddy went this route in his 86 with the same scheme and it looked great.

I have a black/ black coupe and went this route. I get a lot of compliments.

Ralph nailed it. The original CoCO mats in red. They are a true classic and look perfect with just enough red. I would do those all day long!

Same color car, but I had the tan leather interior. Recovered the seats recently, and went with the natural coloured matts... Probably not the best choice for a black interior though.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1597951163.JPG

You can't go wrong what ever color you decide on.

Post 6 is spot on---enough red -read subtle, but not overpowering!
