Cold cranking oil pressure ???
I was wondering what cranking over motor oil pressure should be. I have a fresh rebuilt 2.8 that I want make sure that pressure is correct before actually starting up. I disconnected coil wire and cranked it over. I can almost reach 1 bar on gauge. Its about 3/4. I know that 1 bar equals 14.5 psi. So I figure I'm getting around 9psi. Is that good enough oil pressure to start motor?

Yes it is , the motor is spinning at about 225 rpm. 9 lbs is just fine .
When it starts idle it at 1500-2000 rpm . watch the OP 10 lbs per 1000 rpm, when at operating temp, is the guide line . I'll bet you will have more than that when it is coming up to temp. If the OP won't go over 25 psi shut it down , you might have a seal leak. Ian
