Great experience with Snap gap.

Hello everyone.

Just wanted to post positive experience with Brad from Snap gap. Often we complain and forget to praise when it’s due.

I haven’t used the system yet. Received it as a gift and my expectations are exceeded with the tool received. Sure it will work awesome.

Living in Canada we are often subject to shippers who gouge with brokerage and pumped up duties. In this case the shipper made all told just under 100USD on the shipment of a package that is smaller than a Kleenex box and weighs about half a pound. The tool itself was a fairly priced 175USD.

Contacted Brad to let him know that shippers were taking advantage of his customers and told him that I was not expecting him to do anything. Only wanted to inform and let him know that for Canadians (at least this one) that USPS is the way to go.

Anyhow he credited me 25USD and I really appreciate that. Won’t name the shipper but the color brown is associated with them.

Thanks again Brad. You are a solid guy!!

Steve Mc.

nice.
fedex/ups.
both of them like to hold Canadians hostage.
on another note: never appreciated Canada Post charging a fee for collecting a fee (duty/taxes).

Garage
I usually pick up my stuff just over the border - the gas, bridge toll and shipping drop point pick up fee are ALWAYS cheaper than brown or purple/orange brokerage fees. Now with Covid we are at the mercy of these colourful shippers. When I do have stuff shipped I ask the shipper to use USPS to the greatest extent possible. Though currently being maligned south of the border they have always been reliable for me.
