2 in 1 out muffler pre 75 to SC
Good day.. I found a local supplier for the Dansk 2 in 1 out muffler.
I'm acquiring a SsI heat exchanger soon and wondering if this Muffler will be ok to use for my 3.0 SC with the SSI heat exchanger? Is there any restrictions in the muffler since it's for 2.7? Thanks ![]() |

you will have to cut and re-angle exhaust tip to make it fit the SC. I have done this with a friends car and no issues. Car was happy with it with no loss of performance

i used one on an SC when i went to SSI's many moons ago and if there was any drop off it could not be noticed with the improvement the SSI's afforded. i did not have any issues with the tip angle or having it need to be worked on to make right.
the only reason it is labeled up to 74 model year is that the 3.oL motors of the SC had a full redo of the exhaust using a single in muffler. even the smog equipped 74's had a two in muffler. it is weird that they do not suggest it would go to a 77 model year because the 74-77 were alike.

The dansk mufflers also come in a “sport” variation. Don’t have product # in front of me but believe its 92.511 (comes in 70mm and 84mm tip). Just went through this. Some would say sport is good for a HP or two with the SSIs on a 3.0L

The sport muffler gets very old after a while as it is loud. The two in, one out will be great.

Dansk also makes a 2 in 1 out sport. It is not much louder than stock but offers better power than the stock original muffler and no drone.
