Is this fuse box correct
The covers for the fuse box in my frunk don’t look right. There are 18 fuse positions but each cover only covers 8 fuses, leaving 2 fuses exposed. Also, the label in the cover describes stuff a I think a ‘73 wouldn’t have had.
Am I correct that one or both of these covers is wrong ? Anybody know the correct part? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1598812186.jpg |
Looks just like the fuse panel on my 1973.5.
There are indeed two separate fuse panels. Three if you include the optional 2 fuse AC Panel which would be on top. |

i just broke down and order the modern fuse panel from Classics in UK...

Per the 1973 wiring diagrams, these are the factory fuses. 10 in the top box and 8 in the lower box.

Yes it looks like you have two smaller covers and you need one large and one small. Easy fix.

I see originals on eBay for stupid money, but not being completely stupid, I’d settle for a knock-off. |
You might want to try the used parts places like DC Automotive. You can buy new complete panels here or at S T O D D A R D.

Sierra Madre sells the reproductions from Carpoint.
